Hélder Costa (Luanda, Angola - January 12, 1994) was the last signing by Valencia CF in the summer transfer market. The Portuguese international arrives from Leeds United and joins the squad to enhance the team's offensive potential.

Dribbling and speed
Hélder Costa plays on the wing and has great speed and dribbling ability, used to get past opposition players.
Experience in Spanish football
Although Costa has spent most of his career in England, he also knows Spanish football after playing for Deportivo la Coruña on loan in the 2014-2015 season. He was trained in the Benfica youth system and, after his time at the Galician team, joined AS Monaco. After that, he packed his bags to start his adventure in the Premier League: First at Wolverhampton and later at Leeds United. In addition, he has been a senior international with Portugal.

Versatility
Costa is a versatile player. During his career he has played mainly on the right side as an inverted winger, although he can occupy any of the forward positions. His versatility allows Valencia CF to expand their offensive play.
